19-Piece Wall Installation

This is a wall installation comprised of 19 individually hand-carved ceramic sticks. Each element is burnished, washed, waxed, and fired multiple times to achieve its distinct surface decoration. The artist maintains the same color palette for each collection, yet no two are alike. Each piece hangs from an individual nail or screw.
