Cassandra Tondro's "Gaia" paintings developed out of an accident of spilled paint. Noticing beautiful patterns in the puddle and not wanting to waste paint, she pushed a canvas into the wet paint and discovered a whole new world of design. This acrylic work is created via precise pull techniques as well as surfactants added to the paint, and boasts free-flowing patterns reminiscent of those found in the natural world. Gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides, it's signed on the back and ready to hang.
