Tuscan Landscape

A brilliant spring sky gleams over the rolling grassy hills of the Tuscan countryside in this kiln-formed glass sculpture. Artist Varda Avnisan cuts, fires, and assembles multiple glass "canvases" using iridized, transparent, and opaque glass to create a work reminiscent of the shifting light of the Italian landscape. The sculpture comes with a custom-built steel stand for display.
