Rabbit by Moonlight Box

This wheel-thrown porcelain box is hand-carved in a fluted pattern. A hand-modeled rabbit adorns the lid, accompanied by a rising moon. Its smooth surface is due to airbrushed matte glazes fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. A sculptural yet functional box, it's signed and dated by the artist.
