Bay Leaves and Berries

Green bay leaves sway across the surface of this porcelain vase enhanced by strategically placed blue berries. The background glaze is a unique Shino glaze which breaks from gold to red across the surface. Leaves , berries and branches are constructed individually from thin sheets of clay and carefully adhered to the surface of the vase.
