Birds on a Wire

This wheel-thrown porcelain vase is graced by a flock of whimsical birds. The artist creates her design by carving through a layer of black slip using the sgraffito technique, resulting in a textural surface with bold contrast. Signed on bottom. Each is unique and may vary.
