Kimono Tablet Vase

After the vase was formed with dark brown clay, the artist gently laid the surface with thin sections of colored clay, using slip. The satin glaze maintains the soft feel and pastel colors. It is a solid and stable shape, intended to support vertical flowering branches for ikebana.
