Fire - Iron Flash Vase

Wheel-thrown vase. Terra-sigillata, lightly burnished. Saggar-fired with tin-foil wrap (multiple fuming materials) in a gas fired kiln. Finished with a layer of protective Carnuba Wax, lightly buffed. This series of Saggar-fired vessels was inspired by Neolithic, Iron Age and Biblical Period discoveries as seen in museums and anthropological publications.
