Diptych with Wire II

This slab-built diptych is all about the texture! The piece is stoneware with the addition of slips and high-temperature wire. The wire is part of the initial construction, is added to the wet clay, and goes through all firings as an integral element of the piece. Each component square is 17.5"H, 17.5"W and is backed on wood.
