Earth and Smoke

Wheel-thrown and altered clay. Several layers of white and orange Terra Sigilatta were applied and buffed. Fired in a metal Saggar with various combustible materials and placed in a larger kiln. Several layers of fine Carnuba wax are applied after firing, and then buffed to protect the surface.
