Blue Gem Astra Earrings

These earrings are created using an ancient vitreous enameling technique, combining layers of glass, pigment and gold fused onto a steel base through multiple firings at high-temperature. Each piece is hand-painted and features intricate sgraffito detailing, where designs are etched through layers of enamel to reveal contrasting colors beneath. Hand-riveted gemstones add a tactile, luminous accent, making every pair a distinctive blend of texture, color, and craftsmanship. Finished with sterling silver ear wires.
