Hiding in Plain Sight

This piece was created using leaves, seeds, roots and other organic materials and then embossing them into pewter sheet. The artist gathers a variety of botanicals throughout the four seasons of her home state of Michigan. A torch-fired, enameled (melted glass upon copper) “tent” plays an important part in the visual narrative. Signed on the back and ready to hang.
