The wheel is thrown in two separate pieces, then each piece is cut and reshaped, with one spiral shape placed inside the other. The interior is layered with several underglazes, then sanded. Part of the exterior is treated in the same manner. Three panels are glazed with a mottled golden brown glossy cone 6 glaze.
