Mountain Monsoon Lidded Vessel

Created as part of a limited edition series of pieces to commemorate the artist’s move from Southern California to Tucson, Arizona, this hand-built stoneware container offers a vision of a desert mountain in monsoon season. The unexpectedly wet weather transformed the barren landscape into a lush green paradise and inspired the artist to take his work in a different direction.
