Early Fall

Vermont artist Judy Hawkins often finds her inspiration in the Vermont landscape: ponds, marshes, and forests, with their endless, rich subject matter and color, are frequent subjects in her painting. Thin glazes of oil paint are applied in layers creating a "jeweled" shimmer and richness on areas of this work depicting an early Autumn forest scene. Gallery-wrapped canvas with the sides painted a solid color, it's ready to hang.
