A small piece with a bold design, intense contrasting colors, and imaginative overlapping shapes that create unique relationships across the gourd’s surface. Each one-of-a-kind piece begins with pencil sketches and is hand-painted in acrylic; as the gourd is rotated, the owner can choose different compositions to display. The piece is dried, opened, primed, painted, and finished with a protective matte varnish. A metal base is included.
