Red Roof

This whimsical tabletop sculpture depicts two curvy houses with brightly hued roofs. The artist makes each of his sculptures using traditional ceramic hand-building methods: slab, coil, and pinching. After the main slab form is completed, additional sculptural pieces are attached. After the piece is fired to cone 5, a cold finish is applied using acrylic paints.
