Seeds of Eden is a unique necklace made entirely from zippers. It playfully features alternating colored seed-pod bead shapes that are strung on a zipper chain. The dynamic color of the chartreuse and periwinkle fabric element vibrates with the black metal teeth of the zipper.
All of the elements are hand-sewn. Each ''seed-pod bead shape'' measures approximately three inches. The necklace weighs about 9 ounces. Fastens with a hook-clasp inscribed with the artist's signature.
When unclasped, the necklace measures 21 inches end to end. When clasped, the interior circumference measures 19 inches and the outer circumference measures 24 inches.
